I believe in creating bold, organic jewelry for earthy babes. I hope to create pieces you can wear everyday that are anything but basic.
I take most of the inspiration for Eastern Suns from the forms of the high alpine, deserts, and rivers of the American West. The shapes and textures carved by wind and water over the ages are what I hope to capture in this work.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Eastern Suns jewelry is made entirely by hand by Nellie Stephenson in my tiny studio nestled into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
A number of years ago, I fell in love with the ancient craft of metalsmithing - over time, my work grew into the line of jewelry you see today.
